Due to the size and weight of the plate, we recommend two people install the control plate on the tractor.

To Install Handlebar to Locking System
Caution: Locking System is spring loaded. Lay plate on a firm flat surface so that the locking pin is held into plate.
1) Remove cover of chain link as shown in Figure 1.
2) Insert handlebar with curved part out as shown in Figure 2.
3) Insert the spikes of the chain link into the holes of the handlebar.
4) Replace cover back on chain link.

Install Control Plate to the 3-point Hitch on Tractor
1) Remove top link pin from Control Plate.
2) Insert the tractor’s top link between the supports, aligning the holes. Be sure the handlebar side is facing the tractor as shown in Figure 3.
3) Insert the top link pin through the holes .
4) Secure the top link pin by inserting the lynch pin through the top link pin hole.
5) Insert the draw pin through the each bottom hole of the control plate and secure with the attached nut and lock washer as shown in Figure 4.
6) Insert the remaining draw pin through each bottom arm of your 3-point hitch as shown in Figure 5.
7) Secure the draw pin to the bottom arms by inserting the lynch pins through the draw pin holes.

Install Cable
1) Run one end of cable through holes in top of handlebar.
2) Run other end of cable through aluminum sleeve.
Recommendation: Secure cable to tractor using a hook (not included) to prevent the cable from getting caught in the implement.

When Control Plate is installed, it should resemble photo below.
